PROFILE

Mia and Susan have had a chance to join their voices in private venues. Mia, strongly influenced by the music of ABBA she grew up with, enjoyed Susan’s part on their common performances and it did not take too much to convince Susan to try a new act.... Both established in music, the singers recognized the distinctive interpretation, the little nuances both ABBA female lead vocalists carried out and they decided to follow the original ABBA tunes with the taste of their original representation. However, both, Mia and Susan like to bring a bit of themselves to the AbbaTime act.

MIA / Abbatime vocalist
Presently residing in Vancouver Canada, her foundation in entertainment began in her home of country Czechoslovakia, present day Slovakia. A monumental impact on Mia was her Dad, a radio/TV show host, composer, journalist, screen writer and actor. Mia became his protégé at the age of 5, accompanying him, her idol, for numerous entertaining tours. This significantly carved out a new path and was the beginning of her diverse future.

Performing on the stage as five year old for the first time, she won first prize for the singing recital, which she shared with her Dad. As time went by, Mia built strong attraction to Agnetha Faltskog a female singer from the ABBA band. Since the age of 9, the ABBA songs were particularly inspirational for this little girl from Bratislava. Without skills of the English language, she expanded her music interest by phonetically writing their songs in order to be able to sing them. Presently, Mia hosts her own TV talk show. She welcomes people who are passionate about what they do, where they`ve been and where they're going. Each guest brings a unique, West Coast perspective on the vast world we live in. From local legends to news makers and from normal to paranormal.

SUSAN / Abbatime; vocalist
With an Eastern European descent, Susan is an established Vancouver actor and musician. The talented singer, who inherited her musical DNA from her Father, was discovered dishing out her own vocal styles at Fiasco Bros Studios, New Westminster, where her career took a steep progress. That’s where she teamed up with producer Len Osanic who recognized the talented and versatile vocalist. Susan completed two albums at Fiasco under Len’s baton. Susan completed a few short films and appeared in the pilot for the series “Black Op Radio”, which can be found on her personal website
